What do you understand by marketing research?
Marketing research is the process of gathering information about business environment, competitors, consumer behavior, etc. It usually looks at available secondary data (statistics, white books, reports) or goes after primary data (surveys aka questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, etc.)





Results form marketing research give insights for the undergoing processes in the market where your business operates. It is very important part of the marketing business done beforehand or/and continuously

This is called a Cyclic Goal Setting Strategy in which you try to find the natural rhythm of a particular industry and get into the game by creating a Differentiated response to this trend from your competitors and implement it. You need to get as much feedback as you can and remember you can also create your own market by researching what your competitors fail to target.
