You need to contact or go to each specific area that you are interested in. The American Medical Association would be the best place to find information about ailments, Doctors etc.


The Department of Immigration will have information on immigrants and any deportation cases. The federal government has a site called www.cenus.gov/ which will also help. The Department of Justice will also have stats for court cases.


They will have breakdowns by state also.

For your example above, if you want to know how many people in NY suffer from metal illness, goto search.yahoo.com and type in NY Departmet of Health, and then do a search for statisctics. It'll take you to this page: http://www.health.state.ny.us/statistics... , and you can learn that 1.5MM people have diabetes. You may have to dig around and do some math to size your market, but you'll get as good an aswer as any professional would get. good luck.
