Cold calling How do you all feel about someone knocking your door doing market research?
Don't care, their just doing their jobs, market research is pointless cause you just give them funny answers, but if you dfon't wanna respond just say no thank you and they go away.





If something this small bothers someone, I'd love to see the response they'd give if someone pointed a gun in their face, the gunman would have no need to waste a bullet, the hyperactive pillock would have a heart-attack at the sight of it!!!

i would rather have spam emails and junk mail- i hate it that much!





i'd have spilt bolognese sauce down my nightdress by that time and so no callers please!

It didn't work because once I pointed it out to them they said they didn't know what it meant!!!! They always call when we are having a family dinner.Like tonight,we were having curry and a man trying to make me convert to british gas was droning on.My partner soon got shot of him!!!!

Reply:I don't believe people should be disturbed in their homes, be it at the door or by telephone. TV ads are okay - that's the price you pay for free channels - but no other form of advertising or market research belongs in the home.
Reply:I absolutely hate cold calling of any kind. It feels like they are invading my privacy, but if a questionaire is put through my door I will sometimes fill it out.
Reply:no no no at 2 i get home have coffee 3 get the kids from school sit 4 an hour then its dinner then 5ish eat dinner then homework time then talk time then bath time then kids go 2 bed then its me time so its a nooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Reply:It wouldn't bother me at all, as long as it wouldn't bother them when i smacked them in the mouth and let the dogs go.

Reply:YES! GOD I hate it when strangers knock at my door selling crap or pestering me with questions. And these days it's not safe for the people who go door to door either.

It's because of cold-calling scum that I don't bother to answer the door anymore.

Reply:I don't mind participating in market research by appointment at a time to suit me, but I object to people knocking on my door without prior arrangement.
Reply:Yes, they shouldn't do it elderly or young people could answer the door and some callers who work on commission can be very forcefull. this should be stopped
Reply:yes I bloody hate them and they never take the hint that you might actuallly be busy, they always seem to call just as i'm cooking or have put my little girl inthe bath.
Reply:No one should knock on my door that has not been invited. It is rude and I get mad and tell them so.
Reply:Hate it! Do not bother me in my home. Do not step foot on my property trying to solicit something from me. I would boycott the company just for sending people out to bother me at home. Contact me by mail if you want my business, but don't come knocking.

Reply:I always believe their market research is bogus so I do not participate. 9 times out of 10 I will still answer the door though, I'm just that way. You get what you see with me. Somebody knocks , I open. But that does not mean I will fall for their con.
