I have this great idea about starting up a website. However, my question is how should I go about market researching online? I'd like to ask people related to this field questions, with out looking like spam or those trying to steal my ideas. I need to know if people would like my idea(s) and what I can do to improve my ideas.

If you don't want someone to steal your idea but you need to expose it's nature in order to get advice then seek out mentoring from a small business organization in your town. Every town has them and they will provide you with endless information.
