i am going to be writing a cereal market research qustionnaire, as if i was going to be handing it out on the street. what questions should i have

What questions should i put in my cereal qustionnaire (market research)?
a.) How many days of the week would you say you eat cereal?





b.) Do you prefer the sugary kind or the more healthy approach?





c.) What is your favorite cereal and why?





d.) Does the price of the cereal affect your purchase?

BTW: Here's what I would have answered;


a.) 6-7 days a week


b.) I'm a 60-40 percentage rate, leaning more towards the yummy sugary kinds.


c.) I can't pick a FAVORITE because I really like lots of cereals. I enjoy Golden Grahams, Cheerios, Captain Crunch.....I really could go on and on.


d.) Yes, sometimes. Sometimes the near $5 per box makes me hesitate and I'll go towards something on sale.

4. Do you prefer the healthy cereals or the fruity, sugary ones?

6. Do you like playing the games on the back of some cereal boxes?





7. What is the most amount of money you would pay for a box of your favorite cereal?





8. How much cereal do you usually eat per sitting?





9. How long does it take you to eat your cereal per sitting?

Ok, so it's not original, but it had to be done. I mean, a questionaire about cereal!!!
Reply:I assume you're doing this as part of a business project?


In that case you need to address your own agenda. e.g. is it because you want to design a new product or promote an old one? Cos if so you'll need to be more specific about content of cereal and taste.


Are you trying to discover why people buy certain brands and what is the reason for their popularity? If so ask questions about packet design/advertising/free gifts etc.





Using your objectives ask relevant questions.
